Perched on a bluff in the quaint town of Prescott, WI, The Arbor Inn is located in a reclusive quiet cul-de-sac. Built in 1902, this bed and breakfast with a St Croix River view, retains many original fixtures and proudly boasts its age with a fieldstone foundation, hardwood floors and exterior wood columns. In Winter, a wood burning fireplace accentuates the living room and is perfect to cozy up in front of during chilly nights. Near the fire, guests help themselves to hot chocolate, coffee or tea and a fresh homemade goodie or two found on the dining room credenza. Warmth radiates inside as the view of the St Croix River slowly ices over.

Spring months at the B&B give life to our two grapevine covered porches where hours melt away. Wicker chairs for reminiscing, tables for enjoying a card game or glass of wine and speakers with soft background music instill a sense of relaxation that will carry you thru the week.

Summer hosts a flurry of activities. Hiking, biking, canoeing, picking fresh fruit, touring wineries, sightseeing, golfing and many others are only a short drive away. Within walking distance, the town offers antique shops, river-front restaurants and unique pubs. Prescott is also home to a railroad lift bridge and draw bridge which is a spectacular sight from the deck of one of the local restaurants. The small town atmosphere contributes to exhilarating days and peaceful nights.

Fall arrives in its own splendid fashion with brilliant colors and beautiful scenery. Cool nights and warm days make it perfect for viewing the autumn foliage. The St. Croix River Valley is known for its fantastic display of nature at its finest. Contrasting with the river, the fall hues will give even the amateur photographer something worth framing. Picture perfect fall colors!

Although we do not allow pets in the INN, we do have a resident puppy MUNCH who is only allowed on the owners side with the exception when people ask to see him. He does make frequent wine tasting visits per requests from people who see him on our blogs.
